JAKARTA - Incumbent governor shall leave in the second round of the Jakarta election 2017. The General Election Commission (KPU) confirms, based on the phrase 'campaigns' in Article 70 paragraph 3 (a) of Law 10/2016 and Article 88 PKPU 9/2016, which the incumbent candidate submit a letter of permission to the organizers leave the election campaign during the campaign period.

Previously, Minister of Home Affairs, Tjahjo Kumolo leave exclude liability for the incumbent in the second round when the campaign conducted closed. According to this PDIP politician, when sharpening vision, mission and debates have been closed at the time off is not required.

akarta election 2017. In that process has ensured KPU will hold a presidential debate that is part of the campaign.

As for the campaign period scheduled on after the Commission set the election results on 4 March (March 6 to April 15 2017), while the voting and counting was held on 19 April 2017.
