KADIN Highlight Tourism Potential on West Java and Bangka Belitung

JAKARTA - In order to attract investors by introducing potential tourism areas in Indonesia, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN Indonesia) held a High Tea Business Network event. This event has entered the third times. The first High Tea Business Network was held on 9 August, and the second on 27 September 2017.
"This event is a form of support to the government program to attract the attention of local and foreign investors coming to Indonesia," said Chairman of KADIN Indonesia, Eddy Ganefo in Jakarta on Monday (23/10).
In this event, KADIN promotes the theme 'Accelerate Visiting Tour Strategy' especially for West Java and Bangka Belitung (Babel) provinces.
"Tourism sector potential in Babel and West Java. Tourism business bring in huge foreign exchange. In many countries, tourism sector bring in foreign exchange from tourism and also absorb labor," said Eddy.
He hopes that these activities can be utilized by business actors to attract investors to invest their capital especially for the local tourism industry.
In addition, the event is also expected to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia to be equivalent to other multinational companies in Indonesia and abroad.
"From this discussion the results can we recommend to the government," said Eddy.
