JAKARTA - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti spoke about the decision of the Coordinating Minister (Menko) of Maritime, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan to revoke the moratorium on the permit of reclamation of the Jakarta Bay. According to Susi, the process is still long, especially related to the fate of fishermen.
She claimed not to know in detail the plan of Coordinating Minister Luhut to fishermen after the moratorium was revoked. But certainly, Luhut can not casually make decisions on fishermen without asking for input from fishermen.
"I do not know the details of what we are, we have the provisions of the law, the rule of law, we should not talk about it, the stakeholder will be the fisherman, right? (20/10).
According to him, Luhut can not talk about the fate of fishermen. Because, there are still processes and rules that must be seen before making a decision.
"We can not talk. After this, we can continue the fisherman's. The rules are adjusted," she said.
As reported previously, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan lifted a ban or moratorium on reclamation development in the North Coast of Jakarta. He stated that the construction of the Jakarta Bay reclamation can be continued because all the problems have been resolved and the developers have improved the administrative requirements imposed sanctions.
"The LHK Minister has revoked administrative sanctions on C, D and G island, as the developers have fulfilled the moratorium sanction from the central government due to the environmental impact analysis (AMDAL) issue, on which I issued the Decree of the Coordinating Minister for the Ministry of Marine Affairs No. S- 78-001/02/ Menko/Maritime/X/2017 on Thursday," he said in an official statement on Monday (9/10).
