WASHINGTON DC - Coordinating Minister for the Ministry of Marine Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, Governor of Bank Indonesia Agus Martowardojo and film director Livi Zheng had the opportunity to become spokespersons representing Indonesia in 2017 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF Global Media Gathering which held at World Bank Headquarters, Washington DC, US on Wednesday, October 12, 2017.

On this occasion, Livi Zheng spoke of introducing Bhinneka Tunggal Ika which means unity in diversity. Livi explained that Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands and more than 300 tribes that live side by side with abundant cultural diversity and natural wealth.

Livi also told Bali's background as a proper venue for the 2018 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF event. Residents in Bali are very friendly and quickly adapt to the tourists who come to visit Bali.

On this occasion Livi also showcased the teaser of 'Bali: Beats of Paradise' which is planned to be released in 2018 in US cinemas before 2018 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF is held in Nusa Dua, Bali.

Livi told that even though she was born and raised in Indonesia, she never stopped fascinated by Indonesia. There is always something new that he has learned and there are always new areas he has not yet visited.

"I feel fortunate to live in an area where local people live, Bali's scenery is very beautiful but the most he loved from the country where his birth is a culture and traditions are still thick in everyday life," she said.

According to Livi art is the soul of the Balinese. For the Balinese life is a celebration. Every morning we can see the Balinese giving offerings, this is one way they celebrate life and worship.

As Balinese, music and art are part of life. In Balinese life there are certain celebrations that must be done like otonan, cut tooth, wedding and cremation. Ngaben is the ceremony of death, but for the Balinese this is a festive celebration. In every Balinese ceremony there is always a gamelan.

In Bali there are many interesting places. Penglipuran village one of them. This is a traditional village that retains traditional Balinese culture. This village retains the same way of life and culture that his ancestors lived hundreds of years ago in their daily lives.

"The destination is very famous for tourists because it prohibits motor vehicles within their village, Penglipuran village is known as the third cleanest village in the world, the village has been awarded Kalpataru in 1995," said Livi.

In Bali there is one destination to visit namely Tanah Lot Temple, known as the icon of the island of Bali, so anyone who visits Bali for the first time will always take the time to see this temple. Anyone who has visited there will be fascinated by its beautiful scenery especially at sunset.

"I am with the film crew also feel the same when shooting in Bali a few months ago, they capture the beautiful moment at sunset and fascinated by the landscape in Tanah Lot at that time," she said.

The lot lot is also a special place for the local community. For local people, Tanah Lot temple is a place of worship of the gods of the sea guard. Tanah Lot temple is very unique because this temple is located on a boulder of rocks and cliffs jutting into the sea.

On this occasion Livi also not forget to tell about Blitar, her hometown. After finishing filming in Bali, Livi continued her shoot to Blitar, East Java. Blitar is a small town, this city is not only special for Livi, but also for Indonesia.

The first President of Indonesia, Sukarno spent his childhood in Blitar, he was also buried there. Vice President Boediono was born and raised in Blitar. Centuries before, many kings stopped and meditated in Blitar. There are also many famous kings in Blitar

"There are so many beautiful places in Blitar but unfortunately it was not easy to visit, but now the infrastructure has begun to build there, there are many hidden pearls there to explore," she said.

Livi also did not forget to invite all participants 2018 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF to visit various tourist attractions in Indonesia.
