SURABAYA - If you hear name of Gang Dolly, Surabaya in few years ago, you can imagine things that prostitution. But now it's not anymore. Positive things started to grow from this former prostitution area.
As recently, Surabaya Patatat along with Oki Setiana Dewi and his sister, Ria Ricis successfully embraced mothers of Surabaya residents through a muslimah study at Al-Falah mosque in Gang Dolly area.
"Alhamdulillah, enthusiastic citizens are very good for the event that we carry this out. Me, Ria Ricis and Surabaya Patata team strive to conduct regular Islamic studies. Yesterday, we took the theme of 'From Hijrah to Istiqomah' and open for both Gang Dolly residents especially and Surabaya in general," Oki said on Tuesday (3/10).
Not only muslim studies, this event also enlivened by SMEs from Gang Dolly origin such as KUB Mampu Jaya, SMEs Pujaa, SMEs Samijali and some other SMEs who get support from Surabaya Patata
"We want continue to embrace these SMEs, and Surabaya Patata also invites Arek Patata (typical greeting Surabaya Patata to its customers) to support SMEs from Gang Dolly," said Oki.
