BANTEN - Festival Pesona Tanjung Lesung (FPTL) 2017 in last week also make symbolic marked the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Rhino Dive Center and the signing of MOU for the construction of 1,000 homestay, a spa and a restaurant, and a water park in Tanjung Lesung area.
All the events and projects signify the collaboration and hard work to develop Tanjung Lesung, Pandeglang and Banten. The Serang-Panimbang toll road will start its construction phase in 2018 and is projected to be ready in 2019.
According to Tourism Minister, Arief Yahya, further, if all parties have been fully committed, then he not only committed to fully support this joint work, but also ensure the success will be achieved Banten in the future.
"I hope this projects will elevate Banten to a much better condition in the future," Arief Yahya said.
In the same place, Banten Governor, Wahidin Halim expressed his gratitude for the support shown by the government through the Tourism Ministry and the Public Works and Housing Ministry, and to other parties involved with the Banten Province and Pandeglang regency in developing Tanjung Lesung Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
"This includes the construction of Serang-Panimbang toll road, the revitalization of railways, and for preparing 600 hectares of land for a construction of an international airport in Panimbang," he said.
