JAKARTA - Synonymous with soccer, LaLiga now wants to introduce a variety of other sports that became a favorite sport and achievers in Spain now.
As is known, Spanish football is very popular in the world. Famous clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid until national team, La Furia Roja.
For that reason, La Liga through LaLiga4Sports program seeks to echo this mission. One of ways is by winner of Olympic gold medal 2016 Rio de Janeiro, Carolina Marin to improve visibility and profile of Spanish sport around the world.
"Everyone agrees now that Spain is better known for the sport of football dominated by Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid but Spain is not just that, my goal here is to show that we also have other emerging sports like badminton," said Marin In Jakarta, Sunday (11/6).
Indonesia became one of the countries in Asia which selected for promotion other than Singapore, Malaysia, India, China.
"I am very excited and excited to have the opportunity to be involved in this project with LaLiga and to visit a country that has such great passion and talent in sports," said Marin who is now also preparing for 'Indonesia Open' event.
