'Labuan Hati' Inspire Croatian Sineas

ZAGREB - Five Indonesian films screening on Indonesian Movie Week (IMW) 2017 from 2-7 June 2017 in Croatia. These five films respectively 'Gending Sriwijaya', 'Kisah 3 Titik', 'Sunya', 'MARS', and 'Labuan Hati'.
In event organized by Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Zagreb, 'Labuan Hati' by Lola Amaria was honored to be the opening film.
The first screening took place in Zagreb on 3-4 June 2017 and Split on 5-7 June 2017. Hanung Bramantyo's film titled 'Gending Sriwijaya' also played on the occasion.
"This is a great appreciation for me, they are very appreciative best works of Indonesian filmmakers, they are very enthusiastic about the 'Labuan Hati' which describes best panorama and tourist destinations in Indonesia. Even they inspired and want follow 'Labuan Hati' because in Croatia also many cities with beautiful beach," said Lola.
Not only 'Labuan Hati', 'Kisah 3 Tititk' is also played in two cities in Croatia, namely Zagreb and Split. The all-Croat spectators and local officials said they were very impressed with beauty of Labuan Bajo and Komodo Island as well as several other places in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
"The film was translated in Croatian, so all audience understood with story and also what we presented. After watching, we got a great applause. Excellent applause. I am glad and proud of the appreciation of the Embassy of Zagreb and also the audience in Croatia with our film," Lola said.
Not only screening movies, Lola also conducts workshops with practitioners as well as officials in Zagreb and Split. In this event, she gets a lot of information about movies in Croatia and vice versa.
"We exchange information about film making, they are also interested to make film in Indonesia. Hopefully, there is cooperation in the future," she concluded.
