Korindo Released Fish Seeds, Citizens Asked to Advantage Necessary

JAKARTA - Jakarta in last 20 years has grown very rapidly. This has an impact on the reduced green open area.
To compensate for the harm caused by the loss of green open area, Provincial Government of Jakarta in collaboration with Korindo Group planted 5,000 tree seedlings at Cempaka Forest City Park and three urban forest parks in Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta.
In this event, Korindo planted 5,000 tree seedlings, released 100 birds and dispersed 1,000 fish seeds spread in Cempaka City Forest Park, Pondok Rangon, Bambu Petung and Lapangan Tembak, East Jakarta.
CEO of Korindo, Robert Seung explained, environmental preservation is a thing that must be kept and make attention regardless of the background.
"This nature is a precious heritage to be a legacy to the next generation. And I believe this greening activity is one of the important steps to preserve our nature," said Robert Seung.
Previously, on April 23, 2017, Korindo Group has also planted 500 tree seedlings in Srengseng City Forest, West Jakarta.
"We ask Jakarta residents to take care and not to fished excessive in fish ponds, just take it necessary," said Sofian Tahir, Jakarta Assistant Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat who was accompanied by Head of Department of Forestry of Jakarta, Head of East Jakarta Forestry and Gardening Agency.
In this event, Korindo also involved 922 students from State Junior High School namely, SMPN 196, SMPN 230, MTsN 22, SMPN 147, SMPN 283 and SMPN 9.
