JAKARTA - Lawyer of PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI), Andi F Simangungsong urged PT Sinemart Indonesia and Leo Sutanto to comply with decision of West Jakarta District Court (PN).
In the ruling issued by West Jakarta District Court, Leo Sutanto and PT Sinemart Indonesia asked to apologize to PT RCTI as declared in default.
PT Sinemart and Leo Sutanto was asked to apologize to PT RCTI for breach of agreement by selling programs to other companies. The apology must be published on page one in nine national newspaper.
In addition, the West Jakarta District Court also stated the sales process all or part of the shares of PT Sinemart Indonesia Group, formerly known Elang Permata Cakrawala, either directly or indirectly declared void.
West Jakarta District Court also sentenced Leo Sutanto and PT Sinemart Indonesia jointly and severally to pay compensation to PT RCTI worth Rp2,64 trillion.
