DENPASAR - International Movie Awards announced the general winners. After selecting the movie 'The Butterfly', 'The Harp' and 'The Timepiece' which directed by Rodney Vance as winner in 2016, for this year 'Two Zions: The Living Legacy of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon' which directed by Cheryl Halpern elected as winner.
'Two Zions: The Living Legacy of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon' describes relationship between King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba who has connected the two nations and cultures through their religious services from around 950 BC to the present day.
This film documentary a unique bond, and introduce a common cultural heritage of two people and two religions that have lasted for more than 2,500 years.
The election of the film as the main winner because this film full with beautiful pictures and portray a strong cultural heritage. In addition, the quality of Hollywood are given in 58-minute film duration is an added value for the judges.
Earlier, this film has screened at Yale University and until now, museums in Europe and Africa often play this movie as an education to the younger generation the cultural heritage.
Award of Overall Winner is given directly by Crown Prince Kingdom of Blahbatu Bali, Anak Agung Ngurah Kakarsana. He said that he was honored to give the prestigious award to the main champion of this festival.
