JAKARTA - Member of Elections Supervisory Board (Bawaslu), Nelson Simanjuntak and Chairman of Supervisory Committee of Tolikara, Yuliper Yikwa P. Jordan reported to the Criminal Investigation, National Police Headquarters by Welies Weya as the Campaign Team of Candidate Usman Wanimbo-Dinus Wanimbo through his attorney, Arsi Divinubun.
Candidate Usman-Dinus declared winning of Tolikara elections some time ago. This report is related to the information submitted Nelson Simanjuntak and Yuliper Jordan in the Session of the Constitutional Court (MK) on 21 March.
According Arsi, in the trial, Nelson Simanjuntak and Yiliper Jordan P. Yikwa present to provide information related to the PSUs issued Recommendation Tolikara Supervisory Committee to the Tolikara Election Commission.
"At the time of the hearing, Jupiter read the documents study which results findings of infringement which gave birth to PSU Recommendation Number: 059/PNWS-KAB-TLK/II/ 2017 dated February 17, 2017," he said on Sunday (2/4).
He continued, after reciting the entire results of the study findings of violations before the judges, Nelson Simanjuntak directly convey to the judge that the study results were read out has been submitted simultaneously with the PSU recommendation to the Tolikara Election Commission on 17 February night around 20:00 or at 8 pm.
"The judge even asked again whether that was read has been submitted to the Tolikara Election Commission, Nelson stated already, everything has been submitted on February 17 via Philip Samtai," he said.
Nelson heard the statement of the Chairman of the Tolikara Election Commission as respondent party immediately denied and said it was not true.
"Well here we see the alleged Nelson Simanjuntak gave false testimony in front of the judges of the Constitutional Court that the study results are read by Chairman of the Supervisory Committee violation Tolikara at the Constitutional Convention has been submitted to the Commission Tolikara, but that's not true," he said.
"This conversation is all there in the minutes of the hearing and had been included in our report evidence in police. It's simple, if not Nelson Simanjuntak and Yuliper Yikwa who make false means Tolikara Election Commission. But from the evidence and the witnesses we have, really reinforce the alleged perjury by Nelson Simanjuntak who is also member of Bawaslu RI," he explained.
He suspected that the purpose Nelson make false as it was at the Constitutional Court has been read, which is to qualify the procedure set out in Perbawaslu No. 2 Year 2015, which in Article 41 paragraph (4) is confirmed; Bawaslu or Pawaslu recommendations to the Election Commission Provincial or Regency/City with file attachments violation and a review of the findings of violations.
"While the fact that the Supervisory Committee has never attach files violations and results of the study at the time of delivering the PSU to the Commission Recommendation Tolikara. So it was forced to make a false statement in the Constitutional Court that it has been submitted.
Therefore, he asked the Police Headquarters to immediately process this problem so that in the future others do not do the same thing.
"It is beautiful this false statement made in front of institutions such as the Constitutional Court. This is a serious matter so police must immediately process in a transparent manner," he concluded.
