UK Business Forum Boosts Maritime and Tourism Investment to Indonesia

LONDON - Indonesian delegation had opportunity to attend UK-Indonesia Investment and Business Forum in London, UK. A delegation which consist CEO Baracca Far FTZ Dubai and PT. Baracca Far Ocean, Frid Razalee, marine academics Prof Rohkmin Dahuri, Vice Governor of West Sumatra H.Nasrul Abit and Director of BritCham Indonesia Nurul Ichwan.

In event attended by Ambassador of Indonesia to UK, Dr Rizal Sukma, CEO Baracca Far FTZ Dubai and PT. Baracca Far Ocean, Frid Razalee said in this business forum talked about big and spacious potential of Indonesian sea. It is expected to attract UK investors to invest.

"For maximum results through use of advanced technology, need huge investments. Here, the role of investors to invest," said Frid in London on Monday (27/3)

Not only big potential of sea, on the heritage and culture, Indonesia also hoped UK tourists come to visit historical relics such as temples like Borobudur, Prambanan and other temples.

As CEO Baracca group, Frid said, related to the follow-up visit with President Jokowi in London last year, it is still in the exploratory stage

"We met with CEO of Maxim Finance, Waheed Qaiser, I urge that those who attend the forum to be able to see the potential investment in Indonesia particularly in West Sumatra that have huge potential to develop tourism," said Frid.

He also hopes that in the future there will be more investment into Indonesia through programs of President Jokowi who are actively attracting inward investors.

"There are some investors who are already interested in investing in Indonesia at special economic area of Tanjung Api-api Sumatera Selatan and mega projects Kertajati Airport in Majalengka, West Java. Hopefully with business forum like this can provide information and new opportunities that in Indonesia to investors," said Frid.
