Police: Panjimas Journalist Engaged in Sweeping and Violence Action

JAKARTA - Police Headquarters admitted Central Java Police arrested a Panjimas journalist, Ranu Muda Adi Nugroho at his home in the Kuwarasan village, Grogol, Sukoharjo, Central Java.

"Thursday night on December 22, 2016 at 0:30 pm, Direskrimum team, Central Java police arrest the Ranu Muda Adi Nugroho in his home," said Chief Information Bureau of Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rikwanto at Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (23/12).

Rikwanto explained, Ranu who also works as a teacher was involved in planning a sweeping action and destruction in Social Kitchen restaurant.

"He (Ranu) is a partner and part of a group doing the destruction and persecution, participated from the planning to the scene," he said.

Rikwanto continue, Ranu also participate in group sweeping, then document all the action of his colleagues was published in Panji Mas
tabloid for circulating among his own.

In the arrest, the police managed to secure a digital camera, clothing used when sweeping in Social Kitchen include shoes, long pants, a black shirt, hat, backpack, two laptops and two mobile phones.

"The suspect is currently taken to the Central Java Police for further investigation. To the possibility of other suspects are still in development," said Rikwanto.
