When 'Gadis Marathon' Touch Up to Garut Flash Flood Area

GARUT - Sad and moved, so it felt by senior artist, Jenny Rachman when visited flash flood victims locations in Garut, Monday (26/9). Joint with management of the Yayasan Jiwa Ramah Sesama (JRS), former Chairman of PARFI directly involved in the worst flood location, at the edge of the river Cimanuk.
"The flash floods have made us all concerned and sad. Therefore, we shared the Yayasan JRS called and wanted to come to share to help alleviate their suffering. Though of course, what we do and that we provide not been able to meet, but we want to be the part that cares about their plight," said Jenny in flash floods site, Garut, West Java.
Prior to the site, Jenny received by Garut Regent at his official residence. During the meeting, Garut Regent revealed this flash flood is really unexpected. Because, already decades Garut never experienced a flood.
On that occasion, Jenny handed over donations of warm clothing to kitchen utensils to flood victims symbolically to the Regent and Vice Regent of Garut.
"Yayasan JRS, commitment to always care for others, because the soul is friendly and humble that we present here with colleagues in hope hopefully, no matter how small the help we give it at least can be useful," said actress who famous with 'Gadis Marathon' movie at 1982.
She also asked for victims to remain confident if there are good lessons from this incident.
"At least we need to be smarter grateful to keep and cherish all creation, especially safeguarding our environment, introspection with what we do and always introspective," she concluded.
