80 Percent Indonesia Suicide Bombers from West Java

CIREBON - Wahid Foundation survey data show quite astonishing results for the province of West Java. This province in the order of the first cases of intolerance in Indonesia. The parameters taken were the majority of suicide bombers are from areas that are often called Tatar Sunda.

"It's alarming, from the data we have and we also gather from the police, nearly 80 percent of suicide bombers in Indonesia from West Java," said Director of the Wahid Foundation, Yenny Wahid while giving material at seminar and workshop in Cirebon, Tuesday (9/8).

Even so, Yenny optimistic, West Java community with a culture that is still attached capable of establishing the same awareness about intolerance and inklusifisme understand.

He saw the villagers should be the enforcement of national sovereignty. It's because that still holds tolerance is a rural community.

Yenny also invited heads of regional and village leaders to create an inclusive village for tolerant thinking, fast to tradition. He said that if the village is not strong become law sovereignty of the nation, then the many battles that will have a major impact on the dynamics in the country of Indonesia.

"Therefore, the head of the area's most understand the condition of the area to the village head and we just wanted to take to build mutual awareness," he said.
