From Mothers, PAPPRI DKI Fight for Arts and Culture as Mandatory Curriculum

JAKARTA - In order to fight for arts and culture as a mandatory curriculum started elementary school level (SD), especially in Jakarta, the Assosiation of Artist, Musician & Composer of the Republic of Indonesia (PAPPRI) DKI Jakarta soon go into elementary schools.
"We co-operation with the Ministry of Education. Lately there have been approaches," said Chairman PAPPRI DKI Jakarta, Ayu Soraya on the sidelines of the National Music Day Concert 2016 in Jakarta, recently.
The approach to these schools, he added, will be done through PAPPRI members who incidentally had children attending elementary schools in Jakarta.
"Members PAPPRI whih mothers majority must have had a link to the school. So from that, where we began to approach," explained Ayu.
Related rarely seen on stage singing, Ayu admitted feels quite at the back of the screen only. With trusted to lead PAPPRI DKI Jakarta, she felt had done a lot for the Indonesian music and art.
"This my choice, nonetheless has the attention of the music, even from behind the scenes," she said.
