Hanguksobang Factory Explode, One Indonesian Workers Died

SEOUL - Eight of the nine Indonesian workers (TKI) survived the explosion of a fire extinguishing storage tanks in the Hanguksobang factory, Gyeongbuk Province, South Korea. Six of them in a healthy condition.
"All six people is healthy, does not hurt anything," said the coordinator of the Consular Section at the Embassy in Seoul, Aji Surya via a short message to Antara on Tuesday.
Earlier on Monday (29/2), a total of nine migrant workers were working in the factory when the fire brigade fuel tank exploded during welding to repair cracks in the instrument.
One migrant worker from Ponorogo, East Java Province, named Didik Setiawan, died and two others named Dwi Mulyono and Hari Subagyo injured are currently being treated in hospital in Gyeongbuk Province.
According to Aji, today the company dismissed all employees because it coincided with a national holiday in South Korea.
South Korean security officials, said Aji, has checked the cause of the accident after the explosion occurred until Tuesday morning local time.
The workers who survived the explosion of coordinating with the Embassy in Seoul and keeping his being hospitalized.
"Friends are waiting for the victim there were two people sick, and they take turns with others," said Aji.
Embassy in Seoul has been seeking the necessary data and providing assistance to victims in coordination with the deputy head of the company.
According to the Embassy, the Hanguksobang company have contacted families of the victims died on the maintenance of the bodies and returning them to the country.
